Famous rapper Method Man drops a new single and a limited edition NFT collection that introduces the first five Tical Universe comic characters.

Niantic and Fold Create Bitcoin AR Game

Niantic, creators of the massive hit Pokemon GO, and a FinTech debit card company called “Fold” have launched a new game titled “Fold AR.”

Fold AR is an augmented reality game focusing on Bitcoin and other digital assets. The game does not incorporate NFTs. Instead, the game circulates on Bitcoin and earns the top digital assets with its offering, giving users the opportunity to earn in the process.

The game will be a “play-to-earn” title that focuses on going around to different places and completing challenges, similar to Niantic’s other AR games.

Macy’s Launches Free NFTs to Celebrate the 95th Thanksgiving Day Parade

To celebrate the 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, American chain Macy’s decided to release a collection of NFTs.

Macy’s has partnered up with Make-A-Wish® Foundation, one of their long-time charity partners, to offer a collection of limited-edition NFT’s, which honour the rich history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade tradition. Macy’s released their series of parade-themed NFTs on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th.

The 9,500 free generative NFTs drop includes NFT’s featuring iconic balloons from nine decades of Macy’s Parade history.

El Salvador to Build First-Ever Crypto City

In partnership with digital assets firm Blockstream, El Salvador plans to build the world’s first cryptocurrency city.

Blockstream and El Salvador plan to raise about $1 billion for a “bitcoin bond.” Half of the fund will purchase more bitcoin, while the other half will be used for energy and bitcoin mining infrastructure.

The crypto-city will reportedly be built next to the Conchagua volcano in southeastern El Salvador and will have an airport and commercial and residential areas. The proximity to the volcano facilitates geothermal energy for the project, which is set to begin in 2022.

Dating App Katch To Integrate NFTs

Dating app Katch will become the first to enter the NFT space in video dating by mid-December.

According to the company, the NFTs will be used to “navigate towards creating the dating experience into the metaverse.”

Users of the dating network will have their pictures and videos converted into animated NFTs and placed onto the OpenSea platform.

The NFTs can be purchased and traded, similar to how you would like a picture on other social media platforms. Users will also receive 10% of the resale value of the NFTS.
